Next we'll present you the different types of Lotteries:
National Lottery
To play National Lottery you have to select your 6 favorite numbers or, in case you can't decide the numbers to pick, the computer will pick 6 random numbers for you. These number will be indicated in a blue ticket.
The National Lottery plays on Thursdays and Saturdays. If you get two numbers right, you get back the money you bet. If you get more numbers right, you'll get more money.
Bonolotto
The Bonolotto is played on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and it's very similar to the game called La Primitiva. In Bonolotto you bet 6 numbers (chosen between 1 and 49), trying to guess the right combination.
La Primitiva
This game consists in betting 6 numbers from 1 to 49. The public business organization State Lottery and Bet (Loterías y Apuestas del Estado), prints 2 tickets with different upper stripes.
The Green Stripe Ticket is for one draw and the Brown Stripe is for two draws: Thursday's and Saturday's.
There are two kinds of bets:
Direct Simple: from 1 to 8 bets in the same ticket.
Direct multiple: you bet more than 6 numbers and gain more money.
There's also the possibility to play without a ticket. To do so you have to get into an Internet site where La Primitiva is played.
The Primitiva Gordo
To play this game you have to choose 5 numbers (from 1 to 54) for the prognosis and indicate a number from 0 to 9 for the key number and simple bets.
The draws are on Sundays and, in order to get the first prize, you have to guess the 5 numbers from the combination plus the key number.
The Primitiva Gordo ticket has an upper black stripe where it says “Sunday”.
The Quiniela
The Quiniela tickets have different upper stripes colors depending on the type you want to play.
Blue Color: direct type
Dark Brown Color: reduced type
Yellow Color: conditional type
The tickets can be validated from Mondays through Saturdays. There's also the possibility to play Quiniela in places that have validation machines.
EuroMillones
This game consists in guessing a 5 numbered combination plus 2 panelled stars of 50 and 9 numbers respectively. These draws, in which several countries participate, are on Fridays.
The probability to guess the first category prize (5 numbers plus 2 stars) is of 1 in 76.275.360. That's why it's more effective and payable to play in “peña”.
