The purpose of the game is to predict in which square the ball is going to stay after the Roulette stops spinning.
General Roulette Rules
The european roulette has 37 numbered squares that go from 0 to 36. The green square belongs to the 0, the other squares that represent the rest of the numbers are red or black. The croupier spins the wheel and the ivory ball spins on the edge of the roulette, but on the opposite direction. The ball will go around several times before it stops in one of the squares. In that moment the game ends.
Words used in the Roulette Game
Straight up – Put your chips in the number you want.
Split bet – Put your chips in the line between 2 numbers.
Street bet – Put your chips at the end of any number's row.
Corner bet - Put your chips in the corner where 4 numbers join.
Five bet – It's the only bet that allows to bet 5 numbers.
Dozen bet - In this bet you play with 12 numbers.
Red/Black – You can bet the Red color or the Black color and
so you play with 18 numbers.
Even/Odd – You bet Even or Odd number.
1-18 / 19-36 – You bet to top half of the number or the bottom half of the numbers.
Blackjack
Blackjack is the preferred game in the casinos. The player and the bank have 2 cards each. The purpose of the game is to reach 21 with the cards without going over that number. Whoever has a number the closest to 21 but not bigger than it, wins the bet.
Before the game starts, the cards must be shuffled and then put on the table. All the Jays, Queens and Kings are worth 10 points. The As can be worth 1 or 11. If any of the players gets an As and a ten, gets 21; he'll get Blackjack and it gets paid 3 to 2.
One of the game characteristics is the possibility to:
Double the bet in the middle of the game: when the first 2 cards the player gets sum up 9, 10 or 11, he can double the bet.
The player can buy an insurance to protect himself: if the croupier's faced up card is an As, the players can protect themselves from a possible Blackjack of the croupier.
Split a pair for a new hand: when you have two cards of the same value, you can open 2 different and independent games.
Words used during the Blackjack Games
Hit (Play, ask for a card) – Another card is needed. You can do this as many times as you like as long as you don't go over 21 points.
Stand (Stay) – If you have two cards with the same denomination you can split them and make two hands.
Bust: You lost.
Slots
General Rules for the Slots
The slots are random machines that consists in spinning the spools to get the symbols on them lined up in a winning combination. The amount of money earned depends on the combinations formed.
To start playing you should decide how much money you're going to bet. Insert the coins and pull the handle. The spools will move independently from each other, and then the “game line” will show, randomly, the result. If the combination is a winning one, the machine will increase your credits according to the payment table.
